I generally have posted this before - Paul Simon and Prince are really my 2 fav artists of all time ... I love Paul Simon for his lyrics and I love Prince for his music (prince was in my opinion my fav of all time but at times ... i so appreciated paul simon more I will admit ... ) .

I got Pauls new album .... it got great reviews from Rolling stone magazine etc .... but I was alittle disappointed .... I think it has one great song on it ("Proof of love " ) and alot of ... well ... filler ...

I know prince .org may not be the best place to post this but I know your interests are diverse here ....

I will say I have liked the past couple Paul Simon albums ... where he seems to be dealing with raising children (at a heightened age) and his own mortality issues etc ... but this album just caught me alittle off guard with lyrics that just seem lazy .... (cant believe i said that about his album) .
