I'd have 2 say its Funkmaster Flex, man that cat is just crazy as hell and he's funny too lol besides, I love his positive and earthy vibe. The Electrifying Mojo was really cool while I was growing up!
I also appreciate Rosetta Hines of Detroit; she is currently on the air and is the ONLY one who plays "Xpectation" by Prince. She is a lovely lady.

In Junior High, I used to love listening to Power 106 (Los Angeles) Baka Boyz in the morning (back in 1995). They would play the best old school electro-hip hop and songs that I loved.
Big Boy used to be cool to listen to in the morning on PWR 106 back in the day. I used to really enjoy Julio G (KKBT 92.3 The Beat Circa 1995). He was an old DJ from KDAY 1580AM and I loved his Battle of the Beats segment and his saturday night old school show. He was the bomb. Dominique Duprima was cool. I loved the "Street Science" shows. She'd talk about issues that were affecting the urban community. One show of hers I really enjoyed was "Gay 'N' The Hood" and she talked about gay & lesbians in the inner city and their take on things. The callers were always lively! I miss GrooveRadio 103.1 that was one of the best radio stations of all time. I used to listen to that station religiously! [This message was edited Wed Apr 2 17:08:52 PST 2003 by JANFAN4L]

There are no more radio personalities as far as I'm concerned. The homogenization of mainstream radio has made sure of that, unfortunately. This post not for the wimp contingent. All whiny wusses avert your eyes.

(The Evil) Star on NY's Hot 97. He's a hater, but he's funny and so flippin' over the top it's crazy. (Okay, he took it WAY over the top with the Aaliyah thing. And that wasn't funny! I get a kick out of him because I don't take much of what he says very seriously. He's a shock jock, that's what they do.
