Good thing, too, because at 3 hours, 52 minutes, Thursday's hometown show in East Rutherford, N.J., was his longest concert ever on American soil, according to fan site Backstreets.com. His world record is 4 hours, 6 minutes, set in Helsinki, Finland, back in 2012. . Not too shabby for a guy who turns 67 in September. . The New Jersey show also marked the 41st anniversary of his third album 1975'sBorn to Run. He capped the 33-song set with an onstage marriage proposal before he and the E Street Band ripped into Jersey Girl. . He played for about 4 hours when he came to Dublin a few years ago too. I don't know how he does it. I was in the crowd and I was exhausted. I can only imagine how tired he was being on stage. | |
