One hit wonder or fad songs by year

Given my Silento thread, I thought it may be cool to list annoying fad songs by year. By fad I mean a novelty song either by one hit wonder or novelty act rather than established acts joining the band wagon. I will piut in what I can, but feel free to add fad songs to various years.

.

Also generally the fad lasted a year or less and people now generally ignore it or wonder why it was popular. Can also be established artists with one very catching or annoying song that was everywhere even in ads.

.

Feel free to fill in gaps The list is designed to make you cringe at the song names straight away.

.

This is Why I'm Hot by MIMs (2007) I had this song in my head for ages, its their only huge hit.

American Boy by Estelle featuring Kanye West (2008) this was a great song, she should have become a bigger star IMO.

Pharrell Williams is not a one-hit wonder. He had other hits as member of N.E.R.D. and as a solo artists.

You missed the bolded part. Of course I know Pharell is established, he still sucks the big one though and all of his shit is generic shit hop and processed to death pop trend music.

Ah yes, some great quality listed. Other novelty/1h1 songs that make me think of the topic are 'Coon', 'Pumped Up Kicks', 'The Cha Cha Slide', 'My Neck, My Back' + 'My Dick, My Sack' male dominant version, 'Jump Around', 'Walk the Dinosaur', 'Short Dick Man', anything by Will Smith, Technotronic, Lady Gaga, etc

music I'm afraid of Americans. I'm afraid of the world. music

Happy's a great tune.

I could make a list but it would take over an hour of research, maybe later.
