What concerts are you going to this summer?

So far,I have three concerts lined up for this summer...

***Santana---July 12 (Shoreline Amphitheatre)
***Earth Wind and Fire---August 19 and 20 (Villa Montalvo)
***Madonna---September 6 (San Jose Arena)

Tickets for these shows go on-sale very shortly and I can't wait! What concerts/tours are you looking forward to this summer?

(okay,I'm joking about the Madonna show...lol...but hey,a guy can dream, right?)

PUNK ASS!!!

I just about had a heart-attack when I saw the Madonna show listed...

lol

the only "summer" concert I've planned so far is Glastonbury (but that counts for 10 concerts, I'd say)

beyond that, I have my tix for REM in Sept and plan on seeing Johnny Marr in May...

bom bom bom EDIT!

Just saw Moby and Santana over the last week. Both were amazing. Santana threw in a few lines from Love Bizzare in the encore.

I AM SEEING JAMES BROWN AT THE BONNARRO MUSIC FESTIVAL ON JUNE THE 15TH AND ALSO ON AUGUST THE 27TH IN LA AT THE HOLLYWOOD BOWL. I STILL THINK HE IS ONE THE GREATEST PERFORMERS OF OUR TIME. EVEN AT 70.

I'm praying tha TTD comes to the UK this year.

And don't laugh, but I have ticket for Bon Jovi's Hyde Park gig in June. It's just a great day out really, and they're a good live act for those cheesy 80s classics.

I love Santana to death, and it's always a treat seeing him in concert. But,that setlist is VERY similiar to his last two tours.I wish he would go back to playing lesser known songs and remakes, like in his pre-Supernatural days.I saw him in 1996 and it was the most exciting Santana show ever.He didn't even play ANY real hits until the third hour! The show was filled with rarities and expermental stuff, and it was amazing.

doubtful.

i'm not really much of a concert-goer. sure, i enjoy myself and the music (usually) when i'm there, it's just not something i seek out for entertainment.
