Why can't "they" come up with non-addictive medication that works and get rid of this addictive stuff?

This is not the first time. Some of you may recall tmz reported a few years ago that chaka and lindsey lohan exchaged some words while they were both at the same rehab center. Of course people were then saying chaka was getting high again. Chaka released a statement she was there for a problem she was having with pain medication. Since she is still hsving issues im glad she is getting the help she needs. If we lost her to an overdose, it would change my life forever. I would never recover. This woman is my musical mother. I'm glad she's getting help. I can't imagine what she is going through since the death of Prince...Chaka's sister just posted on fb she and Chaka both have successfully completed a month's stint in rehab and they are now both in after care.
