That's one of three tunes Jam & Lewis wrote and produced on that album. Nicely done. Sounds like an update of their golden era sound. Chord-wise...yes there are similarities to Y&P's DSTM. That's about it. Interesting that Y&P had connections to the Gap Band and Lonnie Simmons. | |
