I don't think Justin Timberlake deserved the backlash he got. But if it inspires people to go after Lady Gaga, I'm all for it. A lot of people on Twitter are posting a petition to get people to boycott FX and advertisers of Amercan Horror Story after photos of Gaga in blackface have resurfaced.

I'm all for it. I think her appropriation of the LGBT community is one of the biggest scams ever by a musical artist. She makes me absolutely ill.

Timberlake has never been in black face, first off. Gaga thinks she's being artsy. Yes well Julianne Hough thought she was paying homage to Crazy Eyes from Orange Is The New Black a few years ago, but that didn't work out so well for her either.

Let's remember this blackface mess is from 2011, and was revisited in 2015 by someone on Twitter. It was also a "gay slave auction" where she talked in a southern accent the whole night, and gay slaves (in black face) were auctioned off. This all happened in Berlin.

Lady Gaga is so irrelevant. She tries too hard to be artsy, and she fails over and over again. As a grown-ass gay man, it irritates the shit out of me that she panders to, and uses, the LGBTQA+ community to get popularity and sell tickets and CDs. It irritates me more that so many gays fall for it, too. "OMG she's so for gay rights". If you need a leader, Madonna, Cher, Bette Midler, RuPaul, Keith Harring, Harvey Milk - there's a whole line of MFrs who have put their careers on the line, at times when it could get you black balled, to fight for equal rights for everyone. It's nice Stephanie wants to join that fray, but don't pander to us. We've seen that shit a million times over. But moreover, gays should be their own leader. We should all be out fighting for what's right, and not being lazy and handing the torch over to Caca or anyone else.

Timberlake saying he's inspired by Jesse's speech is no harm to anyone. I loved what the guy said at the BET Awards. He made so many incredible points, and didn't just give a hoo-rah speech while up there. He took full advantage of that moment to make a point. He really is one to keep an eye on and listen to. While his words were directed at the black community, the truth is the truth no matter who hears it or where it comes from. Truth inspires everyone. It inspired Prince, it inspires Springsteen, Mellencamp,and a gaggle of others. For Timberlake, or anyone, to feel, respect, and be inspired by his words isn't anything bad. Why some heifer wants to pop up and start yelling about appropriation of music is ridiculous, and has stolen the thunder of Jesse's speech. Shame on her for appropriating a moment someone else is having to get your own.

If you don't like Gaga, don't buy her albums. I don't. Don't watch a show she's part of. I don't. But to boycott a whole network is ridiculous. This network will go on with or without whoever watching AHS.

People are allowed to express that they feel someone is insincere in their capitalistic appropriation of culture, suomynona. Madonna perfected this while Gaga appropriated it as well. Some "gays" are aware that they are being Disney-fied in a disturbing way that is contradictory to our recent history as well as insulting to our intelligence.

The LGBT experience is not parallel to the African-American experience by any means, however that does not diminish its importance and the need for the public to understand it. Go-go boys in high heels and makeup are not the full argument, as butt injections and grills are not the full argument. But they do represent the more tacky/desperate/unsavory aspects of both cultures. And the prevalence of both in the media and public consciousness in 2016 seem to be rooted in profit.

in that magazine thing she looks like she has taken the fake tan to a joke level (its a bronzy colour) and with the light hair she looks like princess Allura from the new Voltron.
as for her party, do we know definitively that she said all this stuff? I can't be bothered - maybe if her music grabbed me I'd be bothered cause it would be disappointing but considering they spun that magazine as ammunition against her I dont buy it
