He says that he was recording a TV Show when he heard the news that Prince passed away. He had to perform but it was very hard because he was emotional that nothing would come out of his mouth. Then, he says that it's hard because we lost Bowie not a long ago and that Purple Rain was "all his life". He also says that as he plays several instruments himself, Prince is one of his biggest model. He talks about how his productions were modern and that it's starting to be a lot (all the artists dying).

Thanks so much. I love Benjamin and I am happy to learn he is a Prince fan. He did look emotional after the footage of Prince ended, unlike that clown that was presenting it. BTW are you a Benjamin fan or do you know anything about him. Since I don't speak French I only know his songs. I wonder if he ever spoke about MJ who I also am a big fan of.

Yes it seems like he really was huge fan of Prince. I've just seen an article in which he said that "Sometimes It Snows in April" is one of his favorite songs and it is "simply beautiful".

I'm not a fan of him. I just know some of his songs as I'm french. But I think he likes MJ too, I've just looked on google and apparently he shares the same taste as Vanessa Paradis "from Michael Jackson to Amy Winehouse". He probably talked about him in the past but I don't know.

Cool. Thanks for the info. I got into him through Vanessa, who I have always liked. He produced her last album. I think his first album Rose Kennedy is a masterpiece. I'll try to look on google as well. I only searched on youtube and didn't find anything. If you could send the link you have found, that would be great. Thanks a lot again.
