i'm with pp4, if you're unfamiliar with james brown's back catalog, go buy the "star time" box set. james brown pretty much invented funk. he was the miles davis for funk musicians, in that maceo, bootsy and a host of others trained in his great bands. any quality complilation of funk will start with jb. ------------------------------------------------
