What is Larry Graham setlist on tour ? I ask because I'im going to see him 4 free on 18th june in France, during a jazz festival. What is he doing ? Sly ? prince ? His own shitty discography?

Is it because he made Prince stop cursing that you think Larry Graham is shitty? I mean, he can't be too much, if you're going to see him in concert. Free or not, you've given him enough thought to show up and spend your time on him. Sorry, it's the Hodgkin's talking.

He should do The Jam and a bunch of Sly & the Family Stone. Maybe "One in a Million"? He's more of a casino or state fair act nowadays though.

Larry Graham to me is like Ringo Starr, I don't like them going solo. Surely, I need a shot from GCS, but I don't like his voice.

OK thanks. Do you think he will do some Prince songs ? STARE would be cool

I saw him about a year ago in London. The set was split pretty much 50/50 between Graham Central Station stuff (what you'd expect - The Jam, It's Alright, Hair) and Sly & The Family stuff. When I saw him he also got each member of the band to tell the audience who their biggest musical influence was then they'd play part of a song frm that artist. He also invited members of the audience up to take over on various instruments which was fun but dragged on a bit altough there probably won't be time for that at a festival show. He also encored with 1999 so I'm guessing that will be still be in the set now as a tribute.
I know he's not popular round here but for what it's worth I thought it was a decent show. A bit cheesy/loungy in places but for the most part just a really cool funk party which the crowd was loving.

Hearing live renditions from GCS' My Radio Sure Sounds Good To Me would be a blast. That album is non-stop solid funk.
