Tonight BET's: Inside The Label docuseries BET has announced a new documentary series called "Inside the Label," which will tell the stories behind some of the biggest labels in hip-hop. The eight-week series kicks off on May 17 with an episode on Uptown Records. Future episodes will focus on Grand Hustle, Loud Records, Slip-N-Slide, Terror Squad, Ruff Ryders, Disturbing Tha Peace (DTP), and Murder Inc. Jay Z, RZA, Diddy, Mary J. Blige, Rick Ross, Killer Mike, DJ Khaled, Ludacris, Lyor Cohen, and many others have been interviewed for the show. Find a breakdown of episodes and interviewees below.

Seriously? You start a series like this with the likes of No Limit Records, Rap-A-Lot Records, the original Cash Money Records, So So Def Records, Ruthless Records. Not freakin Slip N Slide, Terror Squad or Murder Inc. I'll give them a pass on Def Jam, Bad Boy and Death Row. They've been done many timrs. And props for Loud Records and Uptown.
