Kris Kross feat. Da Brat & Jermaine Dupri ~ Da Bomb You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

I just don't remember seeing this video or hearing this remix, but I listened to the album version LOTS!

I have the album too. It was common at the time for the radio and single versions to be remixes. The videos for I Missed The Bus and Warm It Up had remixes too. Pretty much all of the singles from BBD's Poison album were remixed. But their remixes had different vocals instead of just changing the music. I totally already had the album and then bought the singles for the remixes. I think that was the trick to sell singles. My mom sure didn't understand why I was buying 'em twice.

Maxi singles weren't the main singles though, and they cost more than the 45s. There was a separate chart for that in Billboard called the Dance Chart or other names depending on the year. The "drop bombs like Hiroshima" line was edited out. It was only said once at the beginning. It's not in the remix anyway.
