[Edited 5/23/16 13:19pm] You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

But wasn't this thread referring to albums though?

A double vinyl is a double album. If a CD is the criteria, then 1999 is a single album. Also there's DVD and Blu Ray audio albums and Songs In The Key Of Life fits on one Blu Ray disc. Even on vinyl, Songs was 2 12"s and a 7" 45 with 4 more songs. So technically, it's 3 records. I have Genesis Lamb album on DVD audio and it's one disc too, but it's a double vinyl as CDs and DVDs didn't exist when the album was released. So by that, it's a single album. CDs hold more time, that's why they can often fit 2 pre-CD era albums on 1 CD. You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

Thank u dude I bought the double vinyl when it was released because I was still too stubborn at the time to give in to the cd technology. [Edited 5/23/16 23:07pm] Don't laugh at my funk
