Last thing I checked of Van's was "What Were You Hoping For?" which I really enjoyed.
I never did check out the follow-up album, but keep meaning to. But I have mixed feelings about all these online EP's, instrumental albums, and outtakes he keeps putting online. It just strikes me as very slap-dash and I fear that there will be little quality control, but I could be entirely wrong.
Is any of this stuff he's put out lately good enough to be on his first four albums? |

No fan should live without listening to Swarf, an album of outtakes, and the Ivories, a collection of piano instrumentals. He has an insane amount of new and old songs, some of it filler--but he's never boring. |
