Last thing I checked of Van's was "What Were You Hoping For?" which I really enjoyed.

I never did check out the follow-up album, but keep meaning to. But I have mixed feelings about all these online EP's, instrumental albums, and outtakes he keeps putting online. It just strikes me as very slap-dash and I fear that there will be little quality control, but I could be entirely wrong.

Is any of this stuff he's put out lately good enough to be on his first four albums?

Identity	No fan should live without listening to Swarf, an album of outtakes, and the Ivories, a collection of piano instrumentals. He has an insane amount of new and old songs, some of it filler--but he's never boring.
