Even though Bruce can't beat Prince in singing, he is very much alive and going strong on his own path. I have seen him on tour several times in my life, and he has never let his audience down. He doesn't go to that extremes as Prince did and he is not a mystical "loner" like Prince was. His moderate way of life predicts long life. "Don't want excuses, yeah. Write me your poetry in motion." |

Billy Idol, Bono, Phil Collins
I'm one of the biggest overprotective fans of Phil Collins. The first time those assholes from Oasis were dissing Phil, I was one of the first to say they need to because Phi's music entertains me. Even today, I still dance to Sussudio, In The Air Tonight, & Don't Lose My Number.
How dare they? I was worrying for George a little it cause I was playing him after so long and remembering his near death experience. Was also thinking I'm relieved I saw Prince and even Madonna already. I also thought of janet, she's definitely not that young now and we should celebrate everyone while they're still here |

How could we forget Tina? She will be around for many years to come. What about Cher?
I love Cher. From what I've seen lately it doesn't look like she is doing too well however I don't always believe the tabloids. |

There is no point in praying.Everyone is going to die.
Speaking like a true agnostic, I do not know how to respond to that. I do not have all of the answers at the moment. But what I do know is that praying is a good idea "just in case".
For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself. For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's.
Romans 14:7-8 If a man is considered guilty
For what goes on in his mind
Then give me the electric chair
For all my future crimes" |

Heopfully these artists are taking care of themselves. I'm sure Springsteen is.
There is no ulterior factor - the Illuminati, blood sacrifices, numerology, Goat People, or any other cockamammie bullshit - that has ANYTHING to do with anyone's death. That's all make-believe that lives in the minds of those who don't get out very much. |

Why do you think that? You should check out her Twitter... she's on fire... a little mad, but still on fire.

Madonna will live until at least 85. Bruce will also have a long life, he is heading towards 70 now. The only other big 80s icon that concerns me is George Michael. He has had quite a few issues over the years. |

To be honest....after losing Michael Jackson and Prince,I really hope that all of these other legendary artists take good care of themselves.I hope they slow down (if need be) and make their health a priority.I love going to see these people in concert, but I don't want them to kill themselves trying to please the fans! |

Oh Madonna is going to live forever.
I love that woman!
But I agree with a previous poster. It is George Michael that I am concerned about. If he does not start taking care of himself I am scared that his years are limited. |

I was thinking the same thing more out of sadness that fact.
But women tend to live longer lives than men, Madonna is very health conscious, works out/yoga eat/sleep well doesn't smoke etc
But in general even with Bruce, how death moves is a mystery, a bodies check out time is hard to calculate.
And we have the wonderful Betty White still kicking in her 90s. She said the secret is to not have kids lol
I hate to say it because before last Thursday I would have bet Madonna would be here for her 100th birthday. But Prince's death is such a genuine shock to me that I don't think even Madonna's death (God forbid) would shock me now.
4 me, Prince's death hit my mortality buttons like the death of friends and family
I'm checking my own life more than anyone else now
But Prince's death is just another reminder that this is our lot in life on this earth, we are born and we die. No amount of money political clout etc can stop it

The 80's singer I am most worried about now is Robert Smith. Loved the Cure and Prince for about 30 years can't lose them both!! |
