You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

two days ago I was at the concert from an Austrian Earth & Wind & Fire Tribute band
the played their usual setlist with all the EWF hits
but as they final encore they pulled Purple Rain
I had to fight the tears cause it hit me totally unprepared... still I was able to film the whole song through

Rest in Peace, Prince of so many dimensions.

Original by Prince.

This is my tribute to Prince. As you may know, he died on April 21, 2016. Two days later I celebrated my birthday, and my friends and I held a Prince listening and appreciation session very late at night. We listened to 'Sometimes it Snows in April' in complete silence. The following two days it snowed.

I wouldn't have touched Prince's music under any other circumstances, but these experiences were too strong. I won't be making money off this. Also, I messed up the lyrics twice, but that's just how it came out when I sang it.

Once again, thank you, Prince, for your beautiful music and your views on society, relationships and "normalcy".
