What's With All This Extra Van Hunt Music? Is he hard up or something? Most of this sounds like incomplete demos or something.

I love Van Hunt, but this stuff is excessive. It's hard to even call some of the stuff a demo. It's just noodling around, a sketch or two for the most part. "Drop that stereo before I blow your Goddamn nuts off, asshole!"

I know what you mean. The Ivories the piano based album ain't no One Nite Alone. Just a collection of slow boring and all the same sounding instrumentals, that go nowhere |

Your complaint is not far to Van Hunt or Prince. It's actually an unnecessary comparison.

I love him too. And I kinda agree with you. But it's like reading Kierkegaard's journals: he's my favorite thinker/philosopher of all time, but dude wrote a lot but his journals provide just a tiny bit more insight into his process. It's the same with these little noodlings: I'm interested in Hunt's process, as an amateur musician myself.
