Im still feeling skeptical about this. Janet is almost 50. They said a source at ET confirmed but that doesn't necessarily make it true though if Janet herself has not said anything and as private as Janet is this whole thing just seems very strange. Really happy for her and love the new video. It does look like a Make Me part 2, but there is better video direction in it that matches the music, and choreography that is somewhat more memorable as a routine.

I agree The "Control" video wasn't released until late 1986.If Janet did have a baby,it would have been sometime in mid-85.

After 8 years of silence Im not sure why it was a let down we got album 2 videos and most of the tour out the way. Good enough to me.

^ It was a let down because not all her fans got the chance to see her live. Considering all she has gone through the past decade and having a 8 year hiatus from music she definitly could have brought her "best effort". I think she did with the album but not so much with the tour.

She has not been on hiatus for 8 years. She was on tour until the end of '11. She was only on hiatus for 3 years, assuming she started to work on her new album in early '15. She should have planned her family in those 3 years though.

Yes. But you also don't schedule a tour and while the tour is still ongoing still continue to try to get pregnant (or at least you shouldn't).

How can anybody tell her when she should make a life decision? also like i said nobody knows how long they have been trying or what the circumstances were, perhaps her doctors told her it was now or never, which is what she hints in her video, if thats the case she did what she needed to do. of course fans are disappointed but her having a child will affect/change her life a whole lot more than a music concert will affect someone's life.

she's actually pregnant and was when she made the video. people took the way she worded it 'planning our family' as her trying to get pregnant. the reason her and live nation said 2017 is because they already know her due date.

The woman is past age 35, it's not easy for most having a child after then, or maybe she was trying and had issues with conceiving. I wondered too about the tour but if this worked out now, better late than never. She is almost 50 and is probably high risk pregnancy

well according to james debarge she had an abortion, that is what he said years ago, of course this story changes every few years. remember when omer bhatti became the secret child. now of course since she is pregnant james changed his story and somebody contacted him saying she is the secret daughter, she knows all his and janet's secrets even though she was adopted...so question is how did the adoptive mother know their secrets, matter fact if janet was hiding this pregnancy how would the person who adopted the baby even know who the birth mother was?
