Very true. She defended Michael during the trial so Madonna always gets my respect. She did joke about MJ in the 90's but she defended MJ when it most counted and she gets my respect always. She did more than what fake Brooke Shields did or Eddie Murphy who were suppose to be his so called friends.

I totally agree, cause this sounded completely made up and I've never once heard or read that in my life. She's always, always credited him from day one, she was just mad she couldn't get him in the sack and we all know she liked instigating a lot during that period in her life, and then grew out of it by the time she defended him. In Janet's defense, she always talked about being sheltered socially and working hard from when she was young until she became independent during Control. Her interactions with people and their dynamics, and drama was probably an ongoing issue for her or something. Even though she's nice, I do think mj was genuinely nicer.

Shaggy trashes Janet horribly. I don't think the trashing is out of spite but out of hurt and disappointment. Shaggy was actually pretty cool with MJ and always speaks highly of him.

I disagree that Janet has better boundaries. A lot of her employees and people that worked under her are also her friend. It has been this way for years and I think that is large reason why Janet's management is horrible. She doesn't have good boundaries when it comes to associates and employees. She feels the need to make these people her "friend" and this has hurt her progresssion this new digital era.

Madonna was seated behind or in front of Janet at some awards show and Janet had just eaten some corn chips. Madonna publicly stated that "Janet Jackson smelled like corn chips." Hey I love shaggy too and agree it was flaky, in fact I think he's way more popular than her here. I agree she's mixed business with pleasure often too, that's a good point. She's not perfect but there's always two sides of a story too.
