Yes, but those $10 prices??? Never heard of any company selling R&B reissues at $10 per cd PLUS a 15% discount. I know FTG have those clearance sales after the titles have been out for a while and they are trying to clear out their stock. But, to sell pre-release reissues for $10? There is very little, if any, profit for the reissuing label. But, to sell a Cher first-time-on-CD title for only $10? That was a red flag for me. I've never heard of that particular album but, being her considerable fanbase is Pop/Rock, they could have easily doubled that price and probably sold most, if not all, of the 1000 copies rather quickly once the word got out.

BINGE products where single discs... and currently FTG is pre selling double discs on Toni Braxton and SWV for 9.58 pounds which is 13.58 US Dollars so its wasnt that far off in price. Teddy Pendergrass is being pre sold at 7.19 pounds which comes out to 10.58 US Dollars so your point is kinda wrong. I went to Cher's twitter one of her fans went over there to snitch, then she went to say she would get WB to put it out (yea right) and im sure someone did the same with Cyndi. At least they refunded the money unlike Gold Legion.

I did find it unsettling how quickly folks here were to be wary, to jump to conclusions, and to complain. Artists' fans are obviously necessary to a business like this, but for any fan who desires expanded or deluxe edition of their favorite artists' releases, I'm surprised most don't understand that not every effort can be perfect. There are so many factors at play. So if one track can't get clearance, for example, why not embrace the other 90% of what did? I'd love for everything to be made for the completist, but the world doesn't work that way -- especially when it's the music world, which has so many players involved in the process. It's a wonder we ever see many of the editions that do make it to market. I hope that Binge! finds a way to regroup and try again. And if that happens, I hope we can all remember to be more supportive and less suspicious and critical (i.e don't poison the well).

This was the approach I tried to take and did notice that there were some quite demanding posts on their facebook page. I thought that the idea that they were another incarnation of Gold Legion was a strange assumption to make, yet many seemed to come to this conclusion. Gold Legion stole a LOT of money. Yeah they did release a product but they sure didn't issue refunds like Binge have. I would almost think Binge threw their hands up in the air and decided CD reissues weren't worth the stress from the buyers and retreated had it not been timed with Cher stating she knew nothing of any deal to release one of her WB albums. WHY did they include what appeared to be legitimate licensing copyrights on each CD release page? Then again it's common knowledge who owns what. Maybe they were just going to release these CDs and hope the rights owners wouldn't notice. A well known reissue label who I won't name did this for YEARS and even got taken to court and have since followed correct licensing procedure and done quite well. Many will know who this is... Binge may remain a mystery but I'd sure like some answers!

Rolling Stones'Trailer for Upcoming Audio/Video Set

A trailer for the upcoming Rolling Stones release Totally Stripped, an expanded, multi-format version of the band's 1995 unplugged album Stripped, has premiered.

The 30-second promo video includes brief interview segments withMick Jagger and Keith Richards, as well as clips of the group performing and behind-the-scenes footage.

The Stripped album featured a combination of tracks that The Rolling Stones recorded live at studios in Tokyo and Lisbon, Portugal, and concert performances from shows the band played during its Voodoo Lounge Tour at small venues in Amsterdam, Paris and London.

Totally Stripped contains a new documentary of that takes an in-depth look at the Stripped project, as well as an album featuring both previously released and unreleased performances from the aforementioned concerts in Amsterdam, Paris and London.

Totally Stripped will be released on June 3, and will available as a DVD/CD or SD Blu-ray/CD set and as a DVD/two-LP or SD Blu-ray/two-LP vinyl package.

In addition, a deluxe five-disc edition of the release will be sold, featuring the CD and DVD or SD Blu-ray, plus full-length videos of the three Stones concerts captured for the Stripped record.
