Got my tickets yesterday. cool My first time seeing Stevie, so I'm ;ooking forward to it.

Has anyone been to one of these BST events in Hyde Park before? Is it all standing? I assumed so, but then got paranoid about the high numbers on my tickets and the reference to 'seating' on Amazon.

Enjoy the show, those who get to go--it truly is a once-in-a-lifetime chance to see Stevie perform Songs In The Key Of Life. It was a dream come true when I saw him last year. wink

I saw the show in Baltimore last year. It was very good and at times very moving. The band is incredible and there was a string section also. 5 background singers and for the duets he brought India Arie out. It sounded great.

Yes all standing, though some people bring folding camping chairs and picnic rugs to sit on through the afternoon. Gone to the bst shows for the past few years and always been great! Also Pharrell rumoured to be the support act, it was jamiorquai last time Stevie played in Hyde park!

Cheers. I like the sound of that: a nice summery vibe - and a good support act would be an added bonus. Now, fingers crossed for a bit of sun! lol

I did a panic buy for this show. The were advetising it everywhere I thought it would be impossible to get a pair.

They were so expensive though. I'm sure he will be worth it.

Think there are still some tickets through axs but you need to buy the £75 ones as the regular lower price seems to be sold out for the moment.

Yep it's a great summer venue, really sad to be missing this year - back the following morning from USA so only missing it by a few hours, very expensive to change transatlantic flights though!
