LOVE the sound of sax in a rock&roll band biggrin R.I.P. to The Big Man, Clarence Clemons. He gets so much shine on this record, and on so many other Bruce x E Street Band records.

My fav Bruce album is the big seller "Born In the U.S.A." though I wish it were a little longer. "My Hometown" touches deep inside my bones

I'm glad I got to see Clarence in concert at least once some years back when I went to see Bruce the first time. It was great! smile

Oh yeah, the one and only boss man. Legitimate and crucial Americana running through his veins! An authentic rock star if ever there were one!
I was lucky enough to catch up with him in Sunderland a few years ago (well I went to the gig!). The whole band are superstars and I found out, a few weeks later, that the band had visited a school in the afternoon. The children had a great time and the teachers were blown away.
None of this made the news but it's things like that which make you realize that music really does lift people up!
Legend.

I was privileged to see the entire original E Street band line up in 1988 before they broke up; what a concert that was. cool

I saw them in LA during the original River Tour. A-Mazing show, one of the best I have ever seen. Bruce is the consumate performer giving his audience and fans so much more than the price of the ticket. He is an all-time fave.

Yeah! I've been wondering for YEARS what movie this was in. Today I checked out Baskstreets.com for their annual April Fool's jokes and they had post this clip from the movie "April Fool's Day". Woo hoo!

BTW, a great place for Springsteen info is www.backstreet.com.

Also, Bruce's own website is pretty great, and you can download tons of concerts there: www.brucespringsteen.net

Bruce "The Boss" Springsteen is one of the most celebrated and powerful live performers this planet has had the pleasure of hosting. I'm not a huge fan of his recorded work but I have had the extreme pleasure of seeing him in concert several times and he does provide quite the show.

It's great that you can buy a CD or download of the concert you attended right on his own website. It was great to get a free download of the Chicago 2016 concert as well. cool

Been a hardcore fan for decades. Probably my favorite musician. Never miss him when he comes to town (just saw him a couple of months ago). Unlike the majority of the faithful, my favorite albums are the pair he released simultaneously in 1992:

It's amazing how he's managed to be energetic and relevant four decades into his career! He always puts on a good show and I'm always amazed by the depth of his lyrics and the "fresh" sound in his songs. He's a rarity indeed!

There's some really great material and underappreciated songs on Human Touch/Lucky Town, but I'm still waiting (all these years later) for those albums to really click with me overall. I don't despise them like most people do.

falloff You just wanted to use the hair-on-fire GIF, didn't you?

There's some good stuff on those albums. I always wondered if Bruce's firing of the E Street Band was influenced in any way by Prince's changing of band members.

Yeah I'm gonna go online and check out what's available. What a great idea to post the concert video for purchase that way you get a good quality copy instead of fuzzy cellphone video smile
