What do u mean her videos are not on YouTube???!!! This is news to me. I'm irritated she's not pushing to get her albums re certified, and I know she's humble about everything and downplays her achievements, but I'm beginning to wonder if she really knows she's that good or not. She always downplayed her success, talent, status, achievements, etc. Over the years and her having the Janet museum at the shows and design me contest were the very few times she gave herself credit. I know she was raised to not be vain about these things but wonder if it's a self esteem issue and if some other things are contributing to sudden cancellations [Edited 3/8/16 23:25pm]

Last time I was in the mood to watch all of her videos (last month), I couldn't find Alright on there at all
I don't know. This is something i've been wondering myself. It's so frustrating being a fan of hers. She's basically been reduced to a one hit wonder that happened to be related to MJ, and is doing nothing to fix it. When your most viewed music video doesn't even have your name on it, there's a big problem. At least with Prince he is the one activley making the decision to not engage in streaming, youtube etc. It's a career choice and I can accept that. Janet, on the other hand does have a vevo account, she DOES have her music on spotify. There has just been ZERO promotion. Another thing is that, it's possible some of her videos are blocked in countries outside of the US (not sure about this) and that keeps streaming down aswell. Also issues with her old label may be the reason why she has two seperate, verified pages which hurts cohesion massivley (case in point: madonna).
The 30th anniversery of control was SUCH a missed oppertunity. She could have, at the very least bought an itunes banner for the album to try and increase catalog sales. Instead it flew completely under the radar to the GP.
The whole unbreakable era was a complete mistake in my opinion. Despite being a good album. That's not enough. All it has sereved to do is ruin what little credibility she had left. If she had no interest in rededicating herself to the industry fully she shouldn't have even bothered. Maybe she feels like she's above promoting herself at this point? Look at Mariah's "Emancipation of Mimi" era for example. A big part of the reason that come back happened is because Mariah, despite being an icon, was NOT afraid to promote herself. She was on every talkshow. Or maybe she thought twitter followers would translate to sales and was discuraged to find that wasn't the case?
All I know is, all of Janet's naysayers are coming out on top. What a way to end your career. SMH.

The start of the Unbreakable tour was actually really great. She had a number one hit album, sold out tour, number one song on adult charts without any promotion. IMO, she was proving her naysayers wrong and I thought she was moving her career in a good direction BUT canceling the entire Europe leg is a HUGE let down and not good. Its not fair to fans specifically. Also, she could give more shine to her classics, iconic music videos, performances, (in other words, significant things that has given her, her icon and legend status). Why not? She doesn't have to do an interview to show a small behind the scenes footage of the making of Control or Velvet Rope. I understand the Superbowl fiasco etc hurt her career BUT IMO she is also adding to that herself.
She is her own worst enemy. The superbowl can't be blamed at this point. It's her. The public knows Janet was done wrong. It's not like she's still being bashed for it. There are calls for apologies on her behalf YEARLY. She has gone to award shows (AMA's, VMA's, BET) AND been tributed since then. She's not being paid complete dust by the industry like most people think. She just fails to cease the moment.
The BET awards were another missed oppertunity. Instead of a thrown together dance tribute to her old classics. SHE should've got up there and preformed. A medley of not only her classics but with some new songs mixed in. Proving that yes, she's still got it and going to see her in tour is worth the money. Instead it was just in and out.

She just canceled all those Europe dates and she got pissed reactions from her European stans so why would she tweet this a few days after? Those disgruntle fans that had to book hotels and took off from work wont be able to see her in concert so it might have been to soon to talk about performing in Dubai especially when she still has not explained why she canceled those other shows. I don't know if its just Janet not caring or her being oblivious to this "digital era" but her management has got to go, ASAP.
