Kendrick Lamar's new release inspired by Black Album Very interesting read on billboard.com about Kendrick Lamar's new collection of songs/demos:
"Me and Kendrick always talked about doing a sort of Black Album, like how Prince did back in the day," [Lamar's Label Boss] Punch [Henderson] explained. "There was no album cover, no song titles, no anything -- just tracks he threw out.”
Untitled Unmastered is great, by the way. It's a shame that Lamar's recording session with Prince is as yet unreleased...
