And to be more heretical, I really like the Invincible album, can't understand why it gets so much stick. Break of Dawn and Whatever happens are beautiful songs. Invincible and Unbreakable are great dance jams, Speechless and 2000 watts are cool and even the Lost children is on the right side of saccharine.

Completely agree. Invincible is very underrated. Songs like Butterflies, Break of Dawn and Heaven Can Wait are his most soulful stuff in years. And the Rodney Jerkins jams are killer, especially the first three tracks, Threatened and YRMW. And then you have the gorgeous ballads such as Speechless and The Lost Children. I would say it's every bit as good as Bad and Dangerous.

Michael Jackson‘s friend and confidant, David Gest, was found dead in a London hotel room Tuesday, the NY Post’s Page Six reports. He was 62.

Gest’s body was found in a room at the swanky Four Seasons hotel, in Westferry Circus, London. A cause of death is not known.

As a teenager Gest was a neighbor of the Jackson 5 in Encino, California. He spent many days at the Jacksons’ Encino compound.

He later went on to be a trusted friend in Michael Jackson‘s tight inner circle. After Michael died in 2009, Gest sold his collection of Jackson memorabilia at auctions to make ends meet.

In 2002, Gest, who was rumored to be bisexual, married actress Liza Minnelli in a star-studded wedding that lasted less than a year.

In 2003, he sued Minelli for spousal support, and she sued him for being an annoyance. The suit was settled out of court in 2007 for nowhere near the $10 million Gest had hoped for.

Gest last appeared on TV’s “Celebrity Big Brother” on Jan. 5.

Prince Jackson does look very semitic. I could definitely picture him wearing a yamulka at the local synagogue. Paris looks more European, cause Debbie isn't biologically Jewish. I wonder if they have a problem with the lyrics in They Don't Care About Us?

It is awesome, he is so heartfelt in the lyrics and his delivery. It is a superb R&B cut and a credit to Michael Jackson's soul chops. I just love his soulful love songs. This should have been a monster hit back then.
