Did anyone on this thread even know her before she was discovered? If not how can you say she is phony? The only people that can say is the people that grew up around her. (Now don't you people start lying and saying that you know somebody that knows...)

But seriously, you can tell if you see somebody's attitude whether its REAL or PHONY. It doesn't take much cleverness,,,and Alicia my friend is phony 2 the fullest degree.

Most black artists act "ghetto", it's so that the common folk feel they identify with them and buy the records, and the middle-class will feel they are "cool" because they are buying something "ghetto" - great marketing!

It's like Avril Lavigne or Piggy Osbourne pretending to be "punk".

Doesn't matter if these folks pretend to be "ghetto", or "punk" - it's all a load of wank since they are currently sat in their Hollywood mansion, or in some VIP area with a $50 bill shoved up their nose.
