As for jazz-infused albums, my vote still goes to The Low End Theory.

You know, although much has been said about Nas' Illmatic, I would greatly recommend it as a "hip hop with Jazz" album, from the sampling, to the guest trumpet on "Life's A Bitch", the approach is very JAZZ RAP.

Tribe for sure. Also both Pete Rock & CL Smooth CDs. Mecca And the Soul Brother and The Main Ingredient Those guys split in the early nineties left fans like me broken-hearted. These cats kicked ass during their brief time in the spotlight.
