Man,I love this album.it's like one continuos groove session

with great melodies.

i think her first, "Baduizm", is great too but I've listened far more

to "worldwide underground".

I like to smoke a little something and play this album loud.

Anyone else dig this little gem?

I've yet to encounter an unenjoyable Erykah Badu album. Hope it stays that way! Worldwide Underground is a great project, I love the way she used to work the audience when she was touring the record with the "puff" gesture and the "woo" choruses. She was experimenting with the crowd interaction that is now a standard in her live show.

Just listened to it last week for the first time in years. I love it..I think it's better than "Baduizm". Very outside the box and still reels you in. Patiently waiting for her next release.

Mama´s Gun is still my favorite and her most cohesive, New Amerykah I & II her most political (albeit a bit too sketchy and a tad unfinished in my opinion) but World Wide Underground is her most enjoyable, fun little album.

I wish her newer stuff was a bit easier to get a hold of. I don´t do downloads, I´d rather have either a physical CD or a very easy-to-download mixtape....but a mixtape on a paysite? Too complicated for me. The only downloads I do are off of Youtube or Soundcloud, and if I like what I hear I go and get the physical CD to support the artist and to have a booklet.

Love Erykah, can´t get enough of her music, seen her live a couple of times....always had fun.

It is a decent EP.

I Want You is a JAM and so is back in The Day. That got played heavily on KMOJ radio here in Minneapolis

Album that made me a fan. Dethroned Madonna as my all time fave artist in 2003, with just one spin. I wish i could hear it new, again! To be fair i hadnt listened to all of baduizm or mama's gun and had totally missed Live...but i thought EB was wack before she made this (WWU) and decided she was basically the female Sly Stone meets Bjork. Just sayin
