I like her, I like the cover...but the last two singles have done NOTHING for me. Especially from a woman who basically made a pop classic with LAMB. I want to hear it but scared I will be unsatisfied like the last album and these two singles.

Really? I think I prefer the direction of her new singles compared to what she was teasing with a year prior:

Alright I like these new ones. Finally listening. Both songs are strong!

Album plays and love for vinyl records.

Gwen is a total sellout. Much like her Voice peer, Adam Levine, she was once an artist I respected. Those first three No Doubt albums were amazing...then they started pandering to the pop charts and chasing trends.

Definitely curious to see what the ND members will do with Havok. He's always been one to do more truly alternative projects, so perhaps it will have a more punk/ska edge like the old ND records

Here is an interview with her in the New York Times.

She is trying to promote herself as a more adult mature type of artist ,but from what I've heard from the album even though the first two songs are catchy, they don't seem that deep or "adult" to me. Something doesn't quite compute here!

"Execs" sign the checks... They are too concerned with "Tweeners, Teens, and 20-somethings"...

She might have some mature tracks in her "Vault"..

CDs do not sell because thieves rip them, and re-sell them, or share them with their firends and family.

So, people will probably go see her in concert sing her previous solo stuff..

Not a fan, but...its all about the tours now.. She won't hurt for anything.

She said though in interviews she's not going to tour much because she has young children. She doesn't have enough solo hits to support a tour For a tour to be successful I would think she would have to sing some No Doubt stuff.

I don't like all of her music, but I don't think she's a sell out. She always wanted to do pop music. She grew up loving pop songs. I don't think she ever really saw herself as an alternative artist or a punk girl. She's always been a pop girl. Most of No Doubt's hits lean pretty heavily toward pop music, not really alternative and punk.

I've heard nothing but great things from people who actually listened to the new album.

Yes, I think it's a good catchy pop album. There were a few songs I didn't like that had a rap influence but overall it was good. It's better than some younger pop divas.

Okay it's not alternative, but I think it represents who she is really well. I think her first album is better, but it's much better than her second album.
