I agree...big Oasis fan here.

There's a rumor floating around that Oasis will be touring with Phish this summer. I truly think this is a lie, I thought I remember an interview with Noel and he said they were taking this year off. Plus I don't think those two bands go together very well. But, it'd be cool if it really happened though.

Taking the year off?

I heard that their new album is out soon!

Odd.

Haven't dug them since their first two albums.

Way overrated by the Brit music Press...but every nation has their modern rock heroes I guess (er, if you can call Oasis modern rock, ie new). Take radiohead or blur over them anyday of the week, sunshine!

I agree both Radiohead and Blur are better bands but I consider Heathen Chemistry to be an improvement on their previous two studio albums.

Noel has recorded some songs (one called Stop The Clocks, which he is saying is the best song he's ever written). But he said that nothing is planned at the moment for an album or tour.

Heathen Chemistry is a very good album and Songbird is a very good tune. The boys are far from being done.
