I think it would be great if they had Bruce Springsteen, Bon Jovi and The Gaslight Anthem.

A throwback retro 80's lineup: Duran Duran, Culture Club and Cyndi Lauper. C'mon it would be fun!

I don't think anyone remembers but, P-Funk DID play the Super Bowl Halftime a long time ago, with the Red Hot Chili Peppers. They were... less tight than usual. I don't think they're the right band to do a 12 minute medley with razor precise timing. And as much as I love the Who they were really not at their best when they did it. Stones and McCartney barely any better.

.

Who would be good? Honestly the show I liked best recently was the Katy Perry one. Big glitzy spectacle, a bunch of hit songs everyone knows, as 12 minutes is about the right amount of time to listen to it.

.

Hate to say it but I think I'm pulling for Taylor Swift.

.

It'll probably be Dave Grohl and his famous friends though, won't it?

You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

Taylor Swift and Imagine Dragons + Kendrick Lamar performing with both.

She even sings like their lead singer on "Bad Blood".

"Radioactive" is like a stadium rock-jock jam..

I think that R&RHOF career award Super Bowl shows are over now....

Phil Collins/Genesis. Forgotten and under-appreciated. Phil doesn't have much time left as an artist and he's one of the best crossover acts of the last half-century. Rock, progressive, pop, jazz, R&B...
