I'm surprise Motley Crue has never been asked to do a Superbowl Halftime Show. hmmm

I make the same case about Maroon 5, Daft Punk, and George Clinton & P-Funk.

College Marching Bands (They can do a battle of the bands). It would be something nice to bring back or incorporate with a headliner.

Daft Punk, Nile Rodgers (performing Chic songs), and The Strokes. All in one performance.

Are artist allowed to make more than one performance in their lifetime? In that case, Prince of course! A whole other show than last time. Some piano, some guitar, some bass, some drums. Epic.

KC & The Sunshine Band----I'm serious biggrin how about a 70s-disco themed Super Bowl performance?

Yeah, if the invite is for a special event, like Super Bowl 50.

NFL missed a great big opportunity to be honest. They could've invited Prince back, keep Bruno and add Janelle AND Outkast... Guys who know how to funk an audience.

Imagine a halftime with these songs performed: Kiss, Play In The Sunshine, Hey Ya!, Queen or Tightrope, B.O.B., Uptown Funk.

Janelle, especially, is a must-see at the Halftime. She's crazy talented and her songs can seriously uplift two stadiums at once.

Since Bon Jovi hasn't performed then I don't see Hall & Oates ever getting an invite....

someone I don't like, so I have no reason to tune into this annual celebration of gay oppression.

I guess Shania, if she times her new album around it and has a great new single. Or Yoko Ono.

I saw the Ohio State Marching Band before the Buffalo vs Jacksonville game at Wembley Stadium last year, and I am still in awe of them. They'd be much better than the parade of fireworks and bullshit usually served up during Superbowl HT.

I would bet heavily that you're right ... after I hear how Axl sounds during the first few months of his tour.

Unfortunately, until another Nipple-Gate type incident happens, I think we're stuck with teenybopper pop acts every single year (or in other words, current acts). Then when Katy or Rihanna's nipple accidentally get exposed, the NFL will try booking legendary acts again like Lionel Richie, Prince, Bruce, Van Halen, etc.

Maybe eye do, just not like eye did before pimp2

No more guest stars!!!! Let the chosen performer have their moment without an intrusive "guest star" coming onstage and ruining the flow.
