Cool. Was just listening to the Deele's monster debut album 2 nights ago and was thinking it was a far fetched dream for these guys to reunite. I know Carlos, Dee, and Darryl Simmons had done a few shows in recent years as the Deele. Don't laugh at my funk
This funk is a serious joint

I hope Fanny sings "Lady Marmalade" again...She sings the Shit out of that Song...She should record it becuz she makes it her own in every way...I don't know what I want Ledisi to sing...Maybe "Since I don't have you" (not a well known Patti Classic)...I bet she'll choose a safe Patti song like "Over the rainbow"...then again Ledisi could surprise us and do "If only you knew"...

I don't recall Face until the 2nd album.

New Edition. I'd say Bobby Brown's career was more successful then Ralph Tresvant's. Overall BBD was more popular than Ralph too. Genesis might count too, since Phil Collins was the drummer (who also did background vocals) when Peter Gabriel was in the group. I think Phil's records sold more than Peter's and Phil had more hits in the US. Peter had one big album in the US. Genesis as a group was more popular with Phil as the lead than with Peter. You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton
