Im afraid I dont know much about PTFI. All I can say is, I was a freak for his first album WHO THE FUNK IS PTFI so I stumpled about this one in November. But here is a link to his soundcloud:

thanks, disappointed in freekbass, I think he has moved too far from da p-funk. Grooves and vocals not what they once were.

the only site I check regulary is funku.fr - It's always up to date and highly informative unless you speak French, haha ... Bandcamp & CDBaby are good resources for Funk as well. Happy DISCOvering!
