This is two cases in one however, and the sleazy side I get. But when she says I don't want to work with the label because they are not going to promote me? That is where it gets a little shady, the sexual harrasment/possible rape? is something seperate from talking about your lack of sales. Kesha first of all signed a HUGE deal a BAD DEAL but if Sony was that dumb to pay that much for that many Kesha albums? really? a six album deal in this musical climate with an artist that is already basically done in terms of mainstream sales at all. So if she is looking to just be set free from the deal than she is going to be in for a surprise, a court will not break that contract if they do, there will have to be a huge payback to the label if in fact she got an advance for signing, that is all going back. Isn't Dr. Luke one of 2-3 producers people run to for a hit/ one of the reasons why pop music is so homogenized now? | |
