All time favorite exercising songs

Are there some songs that seem to be the right energy level to inspire your workouts?

Post yours here! Maybe there is one that you listened to SO MUCH that you got sick of hearing it, but it kept you focused through many past workouts.

I especially appreciate this song for it's zero-swing drum machine that marches like a drill sargeant. I also have the associated visual of Jennifer Beals in spandex to remind me I am exercising.

A few years ago I really enjoyed Dead Prez rapper SticMan´s The Workout album. Really nice and inspiring, motivating album but I listened to it a bit too often and got tired of it.

These days I listen to a lot of house music, especially Deep Vocal House and House mixes by Black Coffee from South Africa.....really good grooves to get you going.

I also like a lot of Curtis Mayfield´s uptempo songs while jogging or working out, and instrumentals by J.Dilla.

And of course some really old school HipHop, the kind of rap I grew up with, really banging 808 beats and electro shit, hard hitting beats.

But it´s mostly Deep Vocal House during my workouts these days.

" I´d rather be a stank ass hoe because I´m not stupid. Oh my goodness! I got more drugs! I´m always funny dude...I´m hilarious! Are we gonna smoke?"

These are seriously perfect. We could probably find more inspiring songs if we just try to recall movies where the characters were athletes training for something. "A League Of Their Own"? lol

Great list! "White Horse" would be excellent.
