Haven't seen much D talk on here recently so I thought I'd kick some off... by saying how much of a beast this song is!

A combustible work of genius, and one of my favorite tracks of the decade.

liked the very early demo that was doing the rounds for a few years and liked the album version.

That demo version is fantastic, isn't it? Very industrial.

it is indeed. i thought no updated album version could beat it, but i have to say

i'm torn between which one i like best. i just love the whole 'cracker christ' talk
on the official version so much

Lately I've been listening to this quite alot.

"glass mountain trust" when that first came out i listened to it so long

and so loud on repeat with my headphones on that i actually walked into a

I had never heard of Ronson until the "D' joint but I have picked up his entire catalogue since.

Was about to reply to Cinnie's post about that one. Both songs are the reason why I love that album. I love the Afro beat sound.

It took awhile for this song to hit me, but once it did, it hit me hard. Monster. I just started playing this record again, for the first time in months, and it sounds like an album of straight up classics.

Truth be told, I'd always considered D'Angelo a one-trick pony -- and an overrated one at that. This track, however, knocked me on my butt and definitely called me to listen to Black Messiah with significantly less prejudice.
