Rick James Japanese Mini-LP CD Box Set On The Way? Been seeing a few of these empty promo boxes from Japan on eBay lately. It features the Streets Songs artwork and the sellers are claiming it holds 8 cd's. I thought this was odd as Rick's Motown period spanned 9 albums from Come Get It! to The Flag. Can't find anything about a release date online; anyone got the intel? |

...I'm almost certain it's actually this (Japanese Disk Union site): http://diskunion.net/blac...C130117101
In other words, it was released in 2013 to coincide with Disk Union's reissue of Street Sounds. It should have 10 cds (not 8) of various artists (not just Rick) in replica jackets, as follows:
RICK JAMES - Street Sounds COMMODORES - In The Pocket TEMPTATIONS - Reunion MARY JANE GIRLS - Mary Jane Girls DAZZ BAND - Keep It Live DEBARGE - All This Love
