That's ages old from some tribute performance. Iirc, she was singing all preggo on top of the piano.

And here is Prince's reaction when Alicia climbed on the piano and almost fell off...

2010 BET AWARDS 5 YEARS AGO ALONG WITH PATTI LABELLE Esperanza Spalding & JANELLE MONAE[Edited 12/9/15 14:48pm] Nick Ashford was someone I greatly admired, had the honor of knowing, and was the real-life inspiration for Cowboy Curtis' hair. RIP Nick. - Pee Wee Herman

I saw this. It was painful to hear. With the Prince tribute shows they need to stop b.s.ing D'Angelo or Maxwell are probably the only ones that could do this song well. On the positive Alicia is pretty girl.

I'm let down. I heard this back in 2009 or 2010 BET awards. I thought this thread was going to be about her new release of a STUDIO VERSION of Adore cover. =(

I hate to say it.......but that is about 95% of her appeal. FOOLS multiply when WISE Men & Women are silent.

I like Bilal I think he's another along with D' and Max that could do justice to a Prince song. Particularly the falsetto ballads like Adore or Insatiable. [Edited 12/10/15 14:06pm]

Absolutely fucking horrendous. Some songs are good to listen to, but should only be covered by the few who are suitable. This song and Alicia do not go together, particularly the last minute. “The man who never looks into a newspaper is better informed than he who reads them, inasmuch as he who knows nothing is nearer to truth than he whose mind is filled with falsehoods and errors.”
