The second song on his album has what sounds to me like some Linn action. It reminds me something from Dirty Mind or something by a side project from that time. It's called When She's Older. I like it. The keyboards are cool. The third song is good. The guitar playing on the album sounds very Prince-like. I can't say anything about the lyrics yet. | |

okay that When she's older track is kinda nice. It's no Linn though, sounds like it. think the track would be killer if somebody with a more soulfull voice would perform it. Dude just don't got that soul in his voice.

Maybe being dutch does not make me really objective, but this rebel does impress me. His albums have some strong songs and his last live album has some arrangements/ extended jams that are very P-worthy. And live he has a vulnerability that feeds my soul. His performance on North Sea Jazz 2015 was really impressive... | |
