I'm not trying to be a dick but I just don't understand this type of fanaticism that you eagerly
await a recording artist to release music as if the artist doesn't have kids, relationships, or
outside projects or interests that could mean that they live their life beyond the expectation of
their fans who must be fed constantly with "product" or they shall die.

The only thing Erykah Badu needs to do is do her. And if that means she sits on her stoned

So, you are not distressed about not having a new Erykah Badu album? Why do you want her
to live her life in a way that pleases you? For, that is really what you are saying.

The only Badu album I listened to as a whole was Worldwide. It was a little sprawling, and
a bit too loose, but I enjoyed it. As for waiting for her next album, I could not give two
craps about how she spends her time in between releases. However, I appreciate her
artistry and I respect her vision as a creative.

I LOVE Badu. But she does march to the beat of a different drummer like me. The funniest thing is when she was singing on the streets of NY last year . NOONNE was paying her any attention, or even knew who she was.
