nice to see "paradise postponed" released, at last. i've had if for about 10 years now i think but i don't think it was ever released on Wild Card, was it? or just on a promo not get into them at all, it was like it all became so mundane and whiney and true love lives on lollipops and crisps

having said that, i do like "blanket on the ground". he sounds like he's having fun again and true love lives on lollipops and crisps

The version is the same prior release but there's also a new instrumental version (Prelude). All these tracks have already been released in mp3 form on his site except for Body & Soul. Looking forward to it.

. Thanks for clarify this. . A +1 reason to buy it. I will. . "Paradise Postponed" for me is one of the "lost" song of any artist I listen to I really really wanted on a proper CD and not only digital. Knowing TTD hasn't changed, it satisfy me. .

What a silly title. Blanket On The Ground is tight. Like those horns. Simple, but direct. All you others say Hell Yea!!

Thanks for posting the interview link. My brain is all sore from reading it, but I understood where he was coming from and it's clear Sony still has a big hook in his ass as far as his US rights are concerned. I really want a copy of Giraffe, but so far I've only it seen it for sale on his website which requires a lot of hassle and all prices are essentially doubled for the American market. A lot of Sananda's recent music is back to being really good, but his distribution is confusing and I can't find a way to get his cd's at a reasonable price.

It was the 16th and closing track on the original tracklisting of Wild Card, which was a free download on his website back in 2001.

Haven't really checked out any of his stuff after Wildcard. To be honest, his album titles nowadays are quite the turnoff If you're willing to look past that, is it worth getting into his latest releases?

You're welcome, I feel the same and must have listened to it 100plus times. With headphones on it's

Sananda's music has been quite different from TTD's and the most significant is the sincerity that I only heard glimpses of with TTD. His youtube page has a lot of his recent work if you have time.

I only liked a couple of songs by this guy but not the material. His vocals however ate tight. Very old school, very soulful.

I believe his newest, The Rise Of The Zugebrian Time Lords, is his best work since Wildcard. Here's my preference with his post WC albums: - Angels & Vampires - Volume I & 2 Return to Zooathalon The Sphinx Nigor Mortis

That's like some crazy Marc Bolan action right there. "Drop that stereo before I blow your Goddamn nuts off, asshole!"

Rex is worth checking out, especially Electric Warrior and Slider. "Drop that stereo before I blow your Goddamn nuts off, asshole!"
