TV's Nick Cannon compares Chris Brown to 2Pac and MJ Does this mean I should look more into his catalogue than "Run It"? . http://www.xxlmag.com/news/2015/10/nick-cannon-chris-brown-michael-jackson-2pac/ . Nick Cannon Compares Chris Brown to Michael Jackson and 2Pac Historical comparisons are fairly commonplace in the world of celebrity, but Nick Cannon may have taken things too far with a recent Instagram post. As seen above, the image sports the header “The Legendary Equation” before suggesting that Chris Brown is a mixture of Michael Jackson and 2 Pac. . “Damn right I said it!” the caption began. “The level of talent, passion, and artistic ability that this young man possesses makes @ChrisBrownOfficial a true legend amongst legends.” . While Breezy certainly has that balance of smooth showman and raw unrestrained expression, MJ and Pac were solidified pioneers in their respective genres before their untimely passing. Cannon goes on to explain the comparison further. . “Think about how much everyone attacked MJ and 2Pac while they were alive…I don’t think I have ever witnessed someone more gifted, who has overcome so much and still growing and learning daily. My prayers go up for this dude everyday.” . Chris Brown is as polarizing a figure as it gets in music today, so fans are likely to either agree with Cannon’s assertion or find it wildly off base. Brown has had his fair share of adversity in recent years be in professionally, legally or romantic. Just last month, the singer was denied entry into Australia due to his history of domestic violence.

I really don't see the 2pac comparison. Chris Brown doesn't rap, does he? I'm not that familiar with his work but from what I've seen of him he comes across as a budget version of Usher. Who, in turn, is a poor man's Michael Jackson.

Chris Brown has been rapping since 2010/ 11 when "Look At Me Now" came out. He's a main contributor to mainstream R&B only existing thanks to being combined with rap.

Chris can definitely dance, so I can see where they would compare that part of him to Michael Jackson, but the 2Pac comparison I don't get at all. Oh wait, I just thought about something, maybe it's the trouble he's always getting into that would make him comparable to Pac. [Edited 10/26/15 16:33pm]

. Oh. That explains it. I thought he was just a "television personality", I didn't know he was making jokes too. Sorry I'm not too familiar with Nick Cannon (no lie I thought he was in B2K)

Lol I remember when him and Chelsea Handler were beefing, and she said "So Nick Cannon is going on a comedy tour. I wonder who will be telling the jokes."
