Prince and Adele had a brief conversation before his show February 2014, and the next day (in the papers) they were collaborating on her next album.

I hardly ever buy albums anymore, but I bought Adele 21 after listening to one half of one song and it was every bit as good as I thought it'd be. Looking forward to the new album.

I never bought her old CDs but I am not a hater either. She *can* sing, and even lifts this rather average ballad into the realm of emotion, I think. The song itself, the material? Meh.

In her first U.S. concert appearance since 2011, Adele will perform for one night only at New York’s Radio City Music Hall on November 17 for a special to air on NBC in December. The one-hour Adele Live In New York City will be broadcast at 10 PM Monday, December 14 on NBC.

The concert taping comes three days ahead of the release of her new album “25” on November 20. Her video for the album’s first single “Hello” released on October 23 has amassed over 146 million views in its first week.

It was previously announced that she’ll perform as SNL’s musical guest on November 21, with Matthew McConaughey as host.

Well this is a Prince forum - so most people like a bit of spunk from their artists.

I think the song is nice and she is such an atttractive woman (especially for a larger lady).

BUT the media and general public hype her up too much - it's so off putting. In fact I stopped listening to the radio in the UK since the single dropped because I don't want to hear people praise her like she's the second coming. I even switched to a a youth dance station but they were playing a remix to 'hello' urgh!

I guess she's like a credible Celine Dion - she has an amazing voice and songs that appeal to the masses, but has a cockney voice and swears from time to time so she's 'cool'

LOL, we're not getting quite that much Adele exposure on this side of the pond so that's an issue I did not know about.

i couldnt get past the first minute of that song. are you all really saying she is a better pop star than beyonce?
