I like her music but is not as exciting as Amy's music (Amy Winehouse)

I am not sure why people bash her. She is one of the better pop stars and much better than Rihanna, Beyonce, Nikki, Perry and the likes. She is will always get my vote. She is really beautiful and underrated in the looks department.

Exactly. Adele gets the props she deserves, she is one of the better pop stars we have today. She can't possibly be more overrated than the others. She actually makes quality music and is a great singer.

Adele's voice is so emotive. She has that rare gift of really making the listener feel something. I'm glad she's back.

I think the GRAMMY nominations will be announced in December. This has been a slow year for music, so I'm sure they'll book Adelaide to perform @ the 2016 ceremony...And I'm sure Sam Smith with get to do a Solo this year instead of sharing the stage with The Queen of Hip/Hop Soul...

I've seen her LIVE Shows/apprearances on Youtube. Adele gives us haunting vocals on Skyfall and I was very impressed as I sat in the theater listening to her. I agree she can make you feel the song on a studio-recording but put OL'girl on a stage and she's not sure how to engage the crowd....It is very obvious...If I was part of her touring Team we'd work on that for months(during rehearsals)...

I saw her live on her club tour for 21 (which was canceled soon after), just as the record was really starting to blow up, and she was fantastic. Maybe she's better suited for smaller venues.

The timing of it was right for a star of her magnitude. Everyone is ready for new Adele. Not too quickly after her Bond theme, which was a nice tide-me-over.

The 1st single 'Hello' showcases her voice but the song itself is average.

The video is dull and fails to convey any connection between her and her ex.

I'm worried, Hello is only good, not great. It is a fairly standard ballad. Hope this isn't like the entire record. The video is trying to cover up the issues.
