2016 Grammy Predictions: nominations coming in dec Eligibility for the upcoming 2016 Grammy Awards has closed (for albums going to be released by September 30th), so that means we already know the most of the songs and albums that will go on to win trophies this coming February. So, what’s going to be nominated? There are quite a few titles and artists that are worthy of the honor, but here are a select few that made such splashes in the past year, they are likely to hear their names called in December when the Recording Academy announces the nominees.
