Sananda has written some brilliant songs, and his interpretations definitely bring some new life into others' classics as well. Right now he is starting to broaden his sound again with some of the bigger arrangements that he would create with a larger ensemble. At an Italian festival he belts out his new single "Blanket on the Ground," which, of course is pretty grand!

I sure do wish that he would bring his brand of funk back to these shores for a spell--I would absolutely love to see him do a club or small theatre tour. This would be spectacular!

For now I give my stereo regular workouts to his new and old stuff
