You won't me to list others.. I shalll. biggrin KC ain't no Funk band... a song here or there doesn't make you a funk band... let's get a grip my brother. lol

I'm just having fun with you. You very well could be right. I just like KC. My uncle turned me

on to his music. I just think numbers like I Get Lifted and Do You Wanna Go Party are

sweaty funky jams.

If sly & the family stone is considered to be a 'FUNK' band..

KC should be too!

It does seem like they skipped over some things. For example,in 1980,KC had a sizable hit with Teri Desario,"Yes,I'm Ready" (a remake of the Barbara Lewis classic) and it wasn't even mentioned. And in 1983,his song "Give It Up" became a surprise hit after Epic refused to release it and KC released it independently...seems like they could have discussed that a little more.

Unless i missed it during my brief dose I don't recall them mentioning Do You Wanna Go Party.

It's interesting that,at the height of their popularity, they released an album (Who Do Ya Love, from 1978) that was only moderately successful. This album should have been HUGE.Not sure what happened here.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed that glaring omission during the ep.

I believe they did mention it as their last charting hit.
Give It Up that is. I'll admit I had never heard of the duet.

^^I just listened to the sound samples on iTunes.I wasn't too impressed, but if they had done a Christmas album during their heyday,it would have been fantastic! Really funky.
